Solvent Based Traffic Paint (HI VOC) a user friendly, fast drying, high VOC solvent based traffic paint suitable for application by airless or air atomized equipment, it is formulated for use on streets and highways, local roads, parking lots, and private properties. Solvent-Based traffic paint is especially suitable for colder ambient applications where waterborne traffic paint cannot be used. It offers all the benefits of a high VOC alkyd resin solvent based paint, and quickly dries to a no track condition.

• Allows for traffic markings in the colder “shoulder” season
• Dries to no pickup in 10 minutes or less when applied at 15 mils
• Performs Equally well on both asphalt and concrete

Storage: Shelf life of the unopened product is 1 year minimum from date of manufacture with proper storage and minimal agitation. Proper storage includes inside or covered, above 35° F ( 3° C) and out of direct sunlight. Outside storage for short intervals is acceptable.

Conditions for Application: All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from oil, grease, antifreeze, loose sand, aggregate and chipping/peeling existing striping. Any curing compounds used on new concrete must be mechanically abraded off prior to striping. When striping on freshly sealed surfaces use caution as some sealers can affect the curing and adhesion of traffic paint. New asphalt and concrete should be allowed to cure for a minimum 30 days to maximize adhesion and durability. Normal application thickness is 11wet mils for parking lots and 18 wet mils for road markings.

Coverage: 1 gallon yields 240 feet of 4" stripe @ 18 mils; 400 feet of 4" stripe @ 12 mils.
